Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Profile data: email address, name, phone number and preferred language.
• Sign-in data: Apple or Google identifier when you sign in with an external provider. We never receive or store your Apple or Google password.
• Phone verification: a one-time SMS code sent through our messaging provider. The code is not stored after verification.
• Location: used to set the pickup point, show nearby drivers and track an active ride. We do not track your location in the background.
• Trip data: pickup, destination, status, timestamps, fare estimate and driver rating.
• Saved places: optional addresses such as Home or Work.
• Website transfer requests: selected destination, pickup address, date and time, name, phone, passenger count, luggage and optional note.
• Website analytics: page visits, traffic source and browser technical data through Google Analytics. Advertising features are disabled. We do not send exact addresses, GPS coordinates, phone numbers, emails, names, chat messages or form text to Google Analytics.
• Technical data: app version, device type, language, push token, crash and performance diagnostics.
• Product analytics: app opens, screen views and coarse ride-order funnel events. Analytics do not include exact addresses, GPS coordinates, phone numbers, emails, names, passwords, chat text or search query text.

2. How we use information

• To match you with an available Green Taxi Burgas driver.
• To show vehicle location and ride status.
• To calculate fare estimates and record completed trips.
• To send ride-status and driver-arrival notifications.
• To verify your phone number and reduce abuse.
• To improve the app, reliability and service quality.
• To process an out-of-city transfer request submitted through the website.

3. Data sharing

We do not sell personal data and do not share it with advertising networks. We share limited information only when needed to provide the service.

• Drivers: name, phone, pickup and destination for the assigned ride.
• Dispatch and administration: trip history, ratings and operational information for support, accounting and quality control.
• Service providers: Supabase, Twilio, Infobip, Google Maps, Google Analytics, OpenStreetMap, Apple Push Notification service, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Sentry and PostHog EU Cloud. They process data on our behalf and under their own terms.
• Authorities: where required by law or valid legal process.

4. Data retention

We retain personal data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymise personal identifiers where reasonably possible. Completed trips may be retained for accounting, legal and safety purposes without being directly linked to your profile.

5. Security

We use encrypted connections, scoped tokens, access controls and other standard safeguards. Access to data is limited to people and systems that need it to provide the service.

6. Tracking and analytics

The app does not use advertising SDKs and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We use PostHog only for first-party product analytics. Session replay, touch autocapture and automatic screen capture are disabled.

The website uses Google Analytics to measure aggregate traffic, page views and technical performance. Advertising features and ad personalization are disabled. We use this data to improve the website and content; we do not send personal data from transfer requests or contact forms to Google Analytics.

7. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your rights

• Access and correct information in your profile.
• Request deletion of your account and personal data.
• Withdraw location and notification permissions through your device settings.
• Contact us with privacy and data-processing questions.
